Maths Tuition

We offer student-focused maths coaching to students in Year 1 through Year 11. The Boost Charged Up Curriculum places a strong emphasis on independent thought while fostering mathematical fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

With continuous guidance, review, and feedback sessions, students are ready for both Key Stage and GCSE exams, ensuring their best performance on test day. Additionally, we use previous exam papers to help students get ready for the format and kind of questions they will encounter on tests.

Making kids love maths is our goal. It can be intimidating to grasp complicated ideas, but the true pleasure begins when everything starts to make sense. Each student has the chance to raise questions and receives the individualised attention they require in order to stay up with the class.

To support kids, our tutors will engage with centre managers and parents as well as spend time with students who require an extra push to approach math with confidence. Our strategy is to offer as much assistance as we can without putting undue pressure on pupils to perform well.

English Tuition

Your child is set up for success from the moment they learn how to communicate effectively. Because of this, learning English at a young age is crucial. We cover phonics, spelling, punctuation, grammar, comprehension, and creative writing assignments in our English tutoring programmes, ranging from beginning to advanced.

Past exam papers, spelling bees, and assignments requiring students to demonstrate their language proficiency help them get ready for exams. Assignments are assigned as homework, reviewed the next class, and used to gauge the development of the pupils.

Everyday living revolves around communication. Giving our kids the means and abilities to express themselves prepares them for success, achievement, and lifelong learning. For this reason, we emphasise engaging children in creative exercises that let them learn, experiment, and enjoy language.

Science Tuition

Science is more than the memorization of difficult concepts and calculations. We make science entertaining and approachable for kids of all skill levels, taking the edge off scientific tongue twisters. Students overcome learning difficulties via ongoing revision and classes that incorporate practical, theory-based demonstrations.

Our tutors inspire kids to show that they comprehend the natural world by having them demonstrate how science is equal parts theory and practise. Children can apply their curious minds to this fascinating subject when grouped into small groups.

All students have the chance to challenge research findings, investigate novel concepts, and pose questions. Inquisitive and receptive to novel concepts and ways of thinking are the results of this.

Our tutors are there to support students as they discover the many wonders of the scientific world, and our curriculum is continuously updated to complement students’ learnings in school.

11 Plus Tuition

Pupils who approach the end of Year 6 schooling must prepare for their 11+ or “transfer” exams. Boost Education has developed a series of annual 11+ crash courses that complement our 11+ tuition classes to help students get exam ready.

Preparation is key for this important exam, and we make sure our students are ready on the day. We cover all bases from time management to exam nerves, revision techniques and question structure to ensure our students get maximum results on their 11 Plus exams. Our 11 Plus crash courses also help students to focus on areas they need to brush up on before exams with tutors standing by to help.

Classes cover Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning, English and Maths with monthly mock exams and constant revisions between tutors and students. Our 11+ crash courses are held in the weeks leading up to the exams to give students that extra boost on test day.

FAQs

What is the process of learning at rhythmic skills?

We customise our course to meet the unique needs of each kid by considering their abilities and requirements.

A skills evaluation at our tutoring facility gives you the essential information about a child’s confidence level and supports their transition to independent study.

As a child moves through our programmes, the “spiral” aspect of our method builds important skills and talents, guaranteeing that future topics are accessible.

“Independent Learning”—what do you mean by that?

Picking things up on their own, in our opinion, will help kids remember them better than other approaches. Using our worksheets, which walk students through a topic one-by-one, we encourage children to work independently.

The tuition centre tutors will be available to provide guidance on how to proceed or additional explanations, if necessary, although most students advance without any problems.

Increased motivation, self-assurance, and a better understanding of one’s own abilities to overcome areas of weakness are some advantages of teaching children autonomous learning skills.

What distinguishes Rhythmic Skills Learning from other private Tuitions?

Every student progress through their unique curriculum at their own speed. While some kids just occasionally require assistance, others do it frequently. When assistance is needed, a staff person is available at the centre to provide it, either by offering a suggestion or, if needed, by sitting down to discuss the issue with the kid.

Rather than concentrating on intensive exam preparation on certain subjects for which one-on-one instruction might be useful, our emphasis is on the long-term foundation of fundamental skills and talents. Our customised lesson plans are nevertheless more relaxed than those provided by a one-on-one teacher.

How much is expected in terms of homework?

This largely depends upon what the parent and child expect. To help children develop confidence in their subject, we would often suggest brief work sessions of 10 to 15 minutes each day.

There are several reasons why a child might use First Class Learning for their studies. We can support a child who is struggling and needs additional support, a bright child who would benefit from extra encouragement outside of the classroom, or a child who is getting ordinary grades but could simply “do better.” The amount of time a youngster eventually spends working from home is probably impacted by this factor.

How much does it cost to learn Rhythmic Skills Tuition Centre?

The Centre Manager is in charge of determining the tuition fees. Thus, someone who is studying one subject may expect to pay roughly £70–90 a month in standard fees.

Competition in this market means that the prices are competitive and probably far less expensive than private tutoring.

For the monthly Tuition price, what will my child receive?

In addition to weekly sessions at our tutoring facilities, your monthly fee additionally covers the daily worksheets that we send for you to complete at home.

Written by skilled and knowledgeable subject matter experts, our math and English tutoring sessions are based on the current National Curriculum’s requirements for learning.

What are the opening days and times for your tuition centres?

Operating hours for the Rhythmic Skills Tuition Centre are 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

If my child skips or not able to attend a session, what will happen?

No worries, speak with the manager of your tuition centre to make arrangements for that week’s work to be provided so that you can continue learning at home.

What is the duration of weekly session at your tuition centres?

Every student will typically spend 60 to 70 minutes a week in our tuition centre for each subject, though this can change based on the child’s age and ability and is at the discretion of the centre manager.

How will you track the progress of my child?

Every module starts with an assessment of your child, and we give them another one at the end of the course.

This enables us to show the child’s improvement and frequently provides them with encouraging feedback regarding how their abilities and understanding have improved.

What distinguishes Rhythmic Skills Learning from other Tuition centres?

A sense of rhythm using tried-and-true “pencil and paper” based worksheet materials, learning delivers all-British curriculum that are aligned to the National Curriculum in mathematics and English.

Because of this, you can be sure that your child’s work is meeting their learning objectives and is pertinent to their studies. To prevent boredom brought on by repetition, our tutoring centre offers personalised learning paths that can span many subjects.

Which skill levels and academic levels are served by your tutoring centres?

All ages and skill levels are accommodated at our centres, which provide primary and secondary tuition. Our customised tutoring plans span the whole spectrum to enable your kid to discover their full potential, from early years and primary education (KS1, KS2, and 11 plus) to secondary education (KS3, KS4, and GCSE). To find out how they can assist, please get in touch with our tutoring centre.
