This qualification will enable learners to develop the skills and knowledge in order to guide and inspire teams to make positive differences to someone’s life when they are faced with physical, practical, social, emotional, psychological or intellectual challenges.
This Level 5 Diploma is a competence-based qualification which means that it covers the knowledge and skill that are required to work in a job role. Learners must be working in a role as leader or manager in an adult care setting where they are involved in leading the delivery care and support services. They will have a full of responsibility for the supervision of others and for leading on aspects of work within the work setting at a high level. Achieving this qualification will enable learners to innovate and respond to a changing environment and to meet challenges and opportunities within the sector.
This qualification is suitable for Learners aged 18 and above and work in health and social care in adult settings and who want to develop skills and knowledge in order to demonstrate their competence.and have a minimum standard of level 2 functional skills English and Math’s.
There are no formal entry requirements; learning providers will ensure that learners have the skills, potential and the opportunity to successfully gain the qualification (this may include completion of a relevant Health and Social Care or Adult Care qualifications at level 4).
