This qualification will enable learners to develop the skills and knowledge in order to make guide and inspire team members to make positive differences to someone’s life when they are faced with physical, practical, social, emotional, psychological or intellectual challenges.
The Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care is a competence-based qualification which means that it covers the knowledge and skill that are required to work in a specific job role, such as Deputy Manager or Care Officer in adult care. This means that learners must be working in a role where they have a good level of responsibility for the supervision of others and for leading on aspects of work within the work setting at a high level.
This qualification is suitable for Learners aged 18 and above and work in health and social care in adult settings and who want to develop skills and knowledge in order to demonstrate their competence.and have a minimum standard of level 2 functional skills English and Math’s.
There are no formal entry requirements; learning providers will ensure that learners have the skills, potential and the opportunity to successfully gain the qualification (this may include completion of a relevant Health and Social Care or Adult Care qualifications at level 3).
